Hey friends, it has been a minute since I did a product
review but today I am giving my thoughts on the Zaron face definer palette. I
got this palette because I was looking for a good highlighter without the steep
price tag that most highlighters come with.
PACKAGING
The Zaron face definer palette comes in a small, black
rectangular palette. When you open it, there’s a mirror inside and you’ll see
the 3 part products (because it’s a 3 part palette) that consist of one part
setting powder, one part contouring powder and one part shimmery highlighter.
THE PRODUCT
I got just 2 shades of this product (PZ05 and PZ15) but the
Zaron face definer palette comes in 4 shades PZ05, PZ10, PZ15 and PZ20 (PZ05
being the lightest and PZ20 the darkest) and that’s awesome because it caters
to every skin tone from fair to dark. I have been using this palette since last
month and I really like it.
As you can see from the swatches, the products are pigmented. If you have been reading the list of products I have
been using lately, you must have observed or not that the Zaron face definer
palette has been a staple lately. I use the light powder from the palette for
setting clients under eye or for baking, I use the darker colors to contour and
they always turn out really nice once you are using the correct palette for
your skin tone. I wasn’t overjoyed with the highlighter though only because I
was looking for something with more of a pop to the cheeks so I use it as an eye
shadow instead but this highlighter gives more of a subtle glow which is still
really nice if that is the look that you are going for.
PRICE
I got these palettes for 3,200 naira each from a Zaron store
but on the Zaron website, it sells for 4,030 each.
OVERALL
I really like this product (or I wouldn’t be using it). It
is portable, it is a multipurpose palette and you get a lot of use out of it as
well. If you’re looking to get a good contour kit without the hefty price tag
then getting this palette would be a good place to start.
TGIF! Have a lovely weekend, xoxo.
Maybe I should try it. Been avoiding it. Lol
ReplyDeleteI really like it for my contouring and concealer setting, you should try it. Let me know how you feel about it
